GGPO®Greenhouse Film

GGPO® is a type of high-quality greenhouse film used in agriculture and horticulture to cover greenhouses and provide an optimal growing environment for plants. The acronym GGPO often stands for specific features of the product rather than a universally standardized film.

PO is the abbreviation of the English word polyolefin, which is expressed as agriculture polyolefin film. Generally referred to as a polymer of ethylene, propylene or higher olefins. The polymer R&D team of Fenglong has been committed to the development and improvement of greenhouse films, and through market research, has proudly launched the GGPO® film with super long-lasting anti-drip, high light transmission, high strength and ultra-long guarantee. GGPO® greenhouse films are manufactured with specially designed 5-layer co-extrusion lines. An 6th layer, based on nano-technology, is added on the surface of the film to confer a very long lasting anti-dripping effect.

Features of GGPO® Greenhouse Film:

1 Durability:

More resistant to UV radiation and weathering, offering a longer lifespan (typically 4-7 years) compared to PE films.

2 Transparency and Light Transmission:

Provides excellent light transmission, promoting better plant growth.

Often treated with additives to diffuse light, reducing hot spots and ensuring even light distribution within the greenhouse.

3 Anti-drip Properties:

Equipped with anti-condensation coatings to prevent water droplets from forming on the film, which can harm plants by blocking light and promoting fungal diseases. The anti dripping performance is excellent compared with traditional PE coating, which can last whole service life of the film.

4 Thermal Insulation:

Maintains heat better than other films, reducing energy costs for temperature regulation in colder climates.

5 Anti-dust and Self-cleaning Properties:

Special coatings available  to repel dust, ensuring consistent light transmission.

6 Chemical Resistance:

More resistant to agricultural chemicals, including pesticides and fertilizers, compared to PE films.
